My name is Vincenzo. I was born in Sicily, I lived in Perugia for many years and in Bratislava for one year as erasmus student, and now I came back in this amazing island. I’m graduated in law, but I really don’t believe on this. I speak sicilian (also sicilian body language), italian, english and spanish (few words in french, portuguese and slovak). I’m an active couchsurfing member since a couple of years ago. That’s why I decided to be a reference point for sustainable tourists here in Sicily.
My idea is to rent my sustainable appartment (I can also rent you my uncle’s appartment) that is two minutes walking from the sea and treat my guests as couchsurfers: preparing typical dinners, tasting extra virgin olive oil and typical products directly in the factory, collecting fruits and vegetables in my garden, tasting my almonds liquor made with my organic almonds, having a bath in the termal water 51° in a wide place that only a local would know.
In short you will see this island in a sustainable way, with the eyes of a local, feeling at home all the time.
